DAY 96: CATHERINE IS HERE!!!!!

Shaina and I got out of bed at 4 am and went to the airport to pick up another of my best friends: Catherine!

We were so excited to see her, but we crashed back into bed when we got back. After a short nap, the three of us and most of our friends went to Ponsonby Road to get brunch and to Mt. Eden to see the view of Auckland.

Lizzy's friend Ellen from home was here visiting, which was sort of funny because Lizzy, Ellen, Catherine, and I all lived on the same floor together freshman year of college. Jaime's friend Fifi was here and Sarah's twin sister was here as well, so we decided to do things they had to do in Auckland before they left.

We had fun hanging out on Mt. Eden and when we got back, we all made ourselves pretty for drinks and dinner downtown. We also went up in the Skytower to see the view of the city at night!

FUN FACT #47: The Skytower is 1,076 feet tall! You can bungy jump off of it if you feel so inclined. It's taller than the Eiffel Tower which stands at 1,063 feet.

The elevator up the tower was a little interesting as the floor was glass and you could see the city as well. The view was spectacular! We ran around the tower a few times and then went back down to get dinner. We headed to bed early- Hobbitton tomorrow!!!
